Memberships and subscriptions for clubs and associations – sign-up, signing and payment

Sign-up with a signed membership agreement

The member picks a membership in the web form and signs the agreement. Once it is signed, the membership becomes active with the price and commitment period from the chosen option. Existing members can be added manually.

Monthly claims from the start date

Each period runs from the member's start date, for example 15 October to 14 November, and the claim is due on the first day of the period. Claims are created automatically for monthly prices. The club can also create one-off claims.

Pause and cancellation

The club can add a pause from–to. No claims are created during the pause, and the commitment period is extended accordingly. Cancellations are registered by the club, or by the member on the member page if the club allows it.

A personal member page

Each member gets a personal link to a page with status, membership, commitment and claims. The member can cancel there and sees the calculated last day before confirming.

Payment with Vipps

Each claim has its own payment page with amount, due date, the club's Vipps number and a reference. The member pays in Vipps and taps “I have paid”, and the club confirms. Cash, bank transfer and other methods can also be registered. Automatic Vipps payment is not available yet.

Notices and reminders

The payer gets an email notice before the due date and one reminder after it. SMS can be turned on and is deducted from the club's SMS balance. With one click you can remind everyone who owes.

Guardian for minors

If the member is under 18, the guardian fields appear in the sign-up form. The guardian signs the agreement, is the payer and receives the notices.

Signing

The membership agreement is signed with a drawn signature, optionally with an SMS one-time code. Sign with Vipps once the club has connected its own Vipps agreement. BankID is coming.

Frequently asked questions

Is money withdrawn from the member automatically?

No. eAvtale creates the payment claims automatically and sends notices and reminders, but the member pays with Vipps to the club's number and taps “I have paid”. The club confirms the payment. Automatic Vipps payment is not available yet.

What if a member starts in the middle of the month?

Periods run from the start date. If the member starts on 15 October, the first period runs to 14 November, at the full amount.

Can members cancel themselves?

Yes, on their own member page, if the club has enabled it. The last day is calculated from the commitment and notice period and shown before the member confirms.

What happens to the commitment period during a pause?

No claims are created during the pause, and the commitment period is extended by the number of paused days if it had not ended when the pause started.

Can members sign with Vipps or BankID?

Members sign with a drawn signature, optionally with an SMS one-time code. If the club has connected its own Vipps agreement, members can also sign with Vipps. BankID is coming.
